Daniel Briggs

Dan is an AP Chemistry/Chemistry teacher at Waukee High School, as well as a swim coach for the girls, boys and 8th grade teams at Waukee. He spends his summers Directing the Aquatics program at Wakonda Club. In 2024, the girls' team won back-to-back-to-back state titles. The boys' team finished runner up after just winning a three-peat. Combined, there were 14 All-Americans (top 100 in the USA) in 2024 and a dozen swimming/committed collegiately at D1 schools. Dan recruits some of the best swimmers in the state to work at Wakonda as lifeguards and to give lessons. Dan resides in Waukee with his wife, Tiffany, and they have 6 kids: Cameron, Kiara, Caleb, Calvin, Corbin and Kambria.
